Of the more than 20,000 homes that were foreclosed over the past twelve months, three out of four failed to protect the homeowner from a loss of property without due process of law. Foreclosure is routinely granted to a party which has failed to show it has the right to foreclose.

California-based RealtyTrac reports Florida with the fourth highest in the nation. Foreclosure rates have increased 36 percent from March 2008. Increases in foreclosure lawsuits filed by lenders continue.

DCH submitted a study to the 12th Circuit District Court with findings of incomplete and improper documentation in foreclosure cases and recommendations to correct these problems and the Court has responded.
